The presentation looks at a recent study, Pathways for Performance, which examines school leadership in a state context. State-level data about leadership preparation in Minnesota are presented along with interview data to understand multiple locations along the career continuum for school leaders including: 1) recruitment & selection, 2) preparation, 3) licensing and certification, and 4) professional development.
